Mr. Himawan is currently the CEO of MPM. He is an industry veteran with almost 40 years of intimate experience in the automotive and consumer finance industry. Prior to leading MPM, he was the Director of Astra International, Tbk. responsible for motorcycle and auto-parts business. Within 37 years tenure with Astra group, he has served as President Commissioner of Astra Otoparts, Tbk. and Astra Honda Motor. He has also served as commissioner at Federal International Finance, Astra Sedaya Finance (ACC), as well as the other Astra subsidiaries. Mr. Himawan earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Parahyangan Catholic University in 1972. He has taken further studies at INSEAD and numerous short courses from many prominent institutions.

Mr. Koji Shima has more than 30 years experience in international trade, retail sales, finance, and invesment experience in the US, Japan, Germany, Spain, Turkey, South America, and South East Asia. Mr. Shima spent 20 years with Japan's major trade and invesment house, Nissho Iwai Corporation. Mr. Shima is fluent in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Indonesian. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Tokyo University (1981) and a Bachelor degree in Economics from Madrid University (1986).
